I grew up in the Twin Cities metro in Minnesota, and despite not living there for a decade, it’ll always be “home.”
I went to Colgate University and graduated with a B.A. in Spanish language and literature, and a minor in linguistics. From there, I went to Georgetown University for my PhD in Theoretical Linguistics, studying under Lisa Zsiga. I graduated in December of 2021, and in Spring 2022, I taught a course for the forensic linguistics concentration of the Criminal Justice & Criminology MA program at PennWest.
As of Fall 2022, I am a lecturer in phonetics in the linguistics department at the University of California, Berkeley.
In the LingLab at Georgetown University.
